Biography
Hossein Gharib, a 22-year-old citizen from Shahroud, Semnan Province, was shot and killed by Islamic Republic agents in Shahroud on January 9, 2026. His death occurred during the January 2026 Lion and Sun protests. Following his death, security forces pressured his family to identify him as a "government martyr."
حسین غریب، شهروند ۲۲ ساله اهل شاهرود در استان سمنان، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ (۹ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) با شلیک ماموران جمهوری اسلامی در همین شهر کشته شد. او در جریان اعتراضات شیر و خورشید در ژانویه ۲۰۲۶ جان باخت. پس از کشتهشدن حسین، نیروهای امنیتی خانواده او را برای معرفی او بهعنوان «شهید حکومتی» تحت فشار شدید قرار دادند.
